Venue > VenueREGISTRATION & WELCOME PARTY On Sunday June 11th, registration will open at 3 pm in the lobby of the Maison Internationale located on campus (7 avenue Alain Savary, 21000 Dijon - N° 61 on the map of the campus). To reach the place from the SNCF railway station "Dijon Ville", take the T1 tramway in the direction of "Quétigny" and exit at the stop "Université". It takes only 25 min. A welcome buffet will be served after 6:30 pm at the same place. Don't miss the famous jamón ibérico pata negra ham, our selection of local chesses together with a taste of great Burgundy wines.
CONGRESS LOCATION From Monday, June 12th, the registration desk and the congress venue will be located at the "Sciences Mirande" building (N° 37 on the map of the campus) on the campus of the Université de Bourgogne. Université de Bourgogne The campus can be reached (map of the campus) most conveniently by tramway (Line T1, direction Quetigny) directly from the SNCF main station "Dijon-Ville" (end-stop in front of the station) and the city center. The journey takes ca. 20 minutes to reach the campus, exit at the stop "Université" (second one on campus). Maps and time tables are available at www.divia.fr. Tickets can be bought at automatic machines at each station (by credit card or cash) and can be used on buses also. Do not throw away your ticket, this is a magnetic card that can be reloaded (a 0.30 € fee is charged when purchased)! The same card can be used for several people travelling together.
TRAVELLING BY AIR VIA PARIS The most convenient way to reach Dijon by air is to fly to Paris Roissy-Charles de Gaulle (CDG) and to continue to Dijon by the direct high-speed train (TGV) that departs daily, excepted on Saturday, at 19:58 from Roissy-Charles de Gaulle (platform N° 4) and arrives in Dijon at 22:03. From Dijon, there is once a day, excepted on Sunday, a direct TGV that stops at Roissy-Charles de Gaulle station (depature: 7:06, arrival: 9:03). Else, and for all flights landing at Paris Orly international airport, you will have to transfer to the center of Paris either by:
TRAVELLING BY AIR VIA LYON From Lyon Saint Exupéry international airport, you will have to transfer to the train station Lyon Part-Dieu using the express tramway (30 min) Rhônexpress. On-line booking is recommended.
TRAVEL BY TRAIN TGV high-speed trains puts Dijon only a few hours from the following cities (direct train with obligatory seat reservation):

The French-Italian night train Thello (Venizia, Padova, Vicenza, Verona, Brescia, Milano) makes a daily stop in Dijon before reaching Paris Gare de Lyon.
ARRIVAL BY CAR Paris is 310 km away from Dijon. Take highway A6 and then A38 (toll-free). At Plombières-les-Dijon stay on the freeway and take the N274 or "LINO" (Liaison Nord) that goes around the city and exit at "Université". If you come by car from north (highway A31) or south (highway A6 and A31), follow "Dijon centre" to reach the "Georges Pompidou" express way N274 and take the exit "Université". Coming from the east by the A39 highway, take the "Dijon Nord" direction that connects with the "Georges Pompidou" express way N274 and take the exit "Université". |
